About SDGA

Sarawak Dayak Graduates Association (SDGA) was officially registered on 23rd July 2001.  Since then, SDGA had been involved in a number of events. Among them were the workshop on the Third Outline Perpective Plan (OPP3) and Eight Malaysian Plan (8MP) jointly organised with the Indigenous Economic Progress (INDEP) Sabah in Kuala Lumpur on 3rd April 2002 and SDGA Seminar on Social Transformation at Santubong, Kuching on 15 February 2003.  These events were graced respectively by the then Prime Minister, YAB Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad and Sarawak Chief Minister, YAB Pehin Sri (Dr) Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud.

SDGA’s first executive committee was headed by the founding President, Prof. Dr. Dimbab Ngidang since its inception until 2007. The second President was Dr. Joseph Jawa Kendawang who held office from 2007-2008 while Dr. Dusit Jaul is the third President for 2009-2010 term.


SDGA Objectives :
To act as a platform for Dayak graduates to interact and connect to/with each other.
To act as a medium/channel for Dayak graduates to air/articulate their community's views and opinions pertaining to education and human capital development with the relevant authorities.
To act as a vehicle to promote Dayak indisputable interest in education.
