Venue: Invent Space
On 21 May 2025, Sarawak Dayak Graduates Association (SDGA) had the pleasure of welcoming a courtesy visit from Angkatan Zaman Mansang (AZAM) Sarawk at Invent Space.
Joining us from AZAM were CEO Mr. Ali Bin Suhaili, together with Mdm. Dayang Intanawati, Ms. Margaret Mary, Mr. Zahid Ngaiman, Mr. Amirul Syafiq, and Mr. Hilton Deli. Representing SDGA were President Ts. Rizzo Mungka, Deputy President Mr. Jordan Anthony, Deputy Secretary General Ms. Shalene Durie, Deputy Treasurer-General Ms. Aileen Kumang, and Executive Committee Member Mr. Jacob Jim.
The visit provided a valuable platform for both organisations to reconnect and strengthen their shared commitment to community development. SDGA and AZAM Sarawak both believe in serving as catalysts for social progress, acting as reliable sources of quality information, and opening up pathways to new opportunities that can make a real difference in the lives of Sarawakians.
Throughout the session, discussions touched on a variety of topics including the potential for collaborative leadership development initiatives and digital empowerment programs aimed at nurturing future-ready talents in Sarawak. Both sides shared insights, exchanged experiences, and explored ways to support and inspire the younger generation, especially in rural and semi-urban communities.
The visit also provided a chance to reaffirm the importance of partnerships in achieving long-term impact. By working together, SDGA and AZAM hope to amplify their efforts in creating more inclusive and empowering platforms that can help uplift the community as a whole.
Moving forward, SDGA looks forward to exploring these ideas further and turning them into meaningful programs that align with both organisations’ missions. The courtesy visit marks the beginning of what promises to be a fruitful and impactful collaboration.
We are excited to see how this partnership will grow and look forward to announcing upcoming initiatives that will benefit members and the wider community. Together, we are committed to building a stronger, more resilient Sarawak.
