Venue: Jong’s Crocodile Farm

The Sarawak Dayak Graduates Association (SDGA) had the pleasure of joining Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Grogo here for an Educational Trip for Special Needs Students to Jong’s Crocodile Farm, organised by the school’s Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG) under the Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi (PPKI).

The visit brought together 17 special needs students, accompanied by 20 parents and seven teachers, for a hands-on learning experience beyond the classroom. The programme provided opportunities for students to explore their surroundings, interact socially and build confidence in a supportive and engaging environment.

Through direct exposure to real-life settings, the educational trip encouraged emotional development, social awareness and communication skills among the students, while fostering positive learning experiences through observation and interaction.

SDGA expressed its appreciation to the teachers and parents for their dedication and commitment in guiding and supporting the students throughout the programme. Their collective efforts played a vital role in ensuring a safe, meaningful and enriching experience for all participants.

SDGA remains committed to supporting inclusive education initiatives and community-based programmes that encourage students to learn, explore and connect with the world around them, while promoting growth, understanding and social inclusion across Sarawak.
