It was an inspiring and empowering afternoon as SDGA took part in ICONTALK during S-CaT Fair 2025, bringing authentic voices and lived experiences to the stage.
The forum titled “Turning Opportunities into Passion” featured SDGA President Ts. Rizzo Mungka, Executive Committee Member Melvin Jangga, and Dr Ashweein Narayanan, with the session moderated by SDGA member Alezxandria Kapple. The panel shared stories about building careers rooted in purpose and how passion can become something meaningful and sustainable with the right mindset and community support.
Dr. Jawing Chunggat, SDGA past president and active member, delivered a heartfelt session titled “Don’t Wait to Make a Difference”. He spoke about what he learned through medicine, activism, and service, encouraging others to step up and make an impact no matter what role they play in life.
Dee Dee Peter also took the stage with her session “Break The Rules but Know Them First”, sharing her journey in the film industry. She opened up about what it takes to build a creative career with both courage and conviction, reminding the audience that confidence, skill, and boldness can coexist.
Every speaker shared parts of their journey that reflected the idea that success does not have to follow one single path. They showed that it is possible to grow a career while also exploring personal passions, side projects, and community-driven goals.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. E hope to continue creating spaces like these that empower, uplift, and spark something real in the hearts of our community.
