Venue: Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
The Sarawak Dayak Graduates Association (SDGA) recently had the honour of joining the Dayak Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and the Kadazandusun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) for the DCCI-KCCI Gawai-Kaamatan Annual Business Meet held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
This cross-regional event brought together indigenous leaders, business professionals, and thought leaders to celebrate shared heritage and strengthen economic collaboration between Sarawak and Sabah.
One of the highlights was the Fellowship Golf Session at Sutera Harbour Golf & Country Club. SDGA members joined fellow participants for an enjoyable morning of friendly competition and meaningful conversations, strengthening relationships in a relaxed and engaging environment.
At the Business Forum held in ITCC Penampang, SDGA members contributed as industrial speakers, presenting on topics including artificial intelligence technologies and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices in the oil and gas industry. These sessions encouraged dialogue on the role of innovation and sustainability in driving economic progress for East Malaysia’s indigenous communities.
This event marked a significant step in building stronger partnerships across Bornei, while also highlighting the importance of cultural appreciation, regional unity, and collaborative growth.
SDGA looks forward to welcoming the next edition of this impactful gathering to Sarawak in the coming year.
