Date: 5th – 7th September 2025
Venue: Telang Usan Hotel, Kuching
Sarawak Dayak Graduates Association (SDGA) President Ts. Rizzo Mungka and Deputy Treasurer General Aileen Kumang recently participated in a three-day Workshop Programme organised by DHRRA Malaysia, held from 5 to 7 September 2025 at Telang Usan Hotel.
The programme brought together women and youth leaders, village heads and community representatives with the aim of enhancing leadership capacity, strengthening advocacy skills and reinforcing their roles as bridges between grassroots communities and support organisations.
Participants were also equipped with knowledge and practical tools to serve as community-based paralegals, enabling them to better assist vulnerable groups, particularly in addressing issues related to statelessness and access to legal support.
SDGA’s participation in the workshop reflects the association’s ongoing commitment to community empowerment, inclusive leadership and the strengthening of grassroots advocacy networks to support equitable access to rights and resources.
